Secure development & VAPT readiness

Secure Software Development & VAPT Readiness

We build software with security designed in, and we help you prepare for and respond to independent security testing. You commission the VAPT from an auditor of your choice; we make your system ready for it and fix what it finds.

What we build

  • Secure by design: OWASP-guided engineering from the first sprint
  • Readiness: scope, environment and evidence for your auditor
  • Remediation: triage and fix VAPT findings
  • Secure configuration: application-level security settings
  • Independent testing: you choose the auditor; we support them

How we help with application security

Security is cheaper and more effective when it is part of the build and when independent testers find what we missed. We cover the engineering side of both.

Secure Design & Coding

We build security into the software from the start: input validation, authentication and authorisation, safe secret handling and encryption, guided by the OWASP Top 10.

Core features
  • Threat-aware design
  • Role-based access control
  • Encryption and key handling
  • Secure API design

Security Review of What We Build

Code review, dependency checks and configuration review during development, so common weaknesses are fixed before anyone else sees them.

Core features
  • Code review for security issues
  • Dependency vulnerability checks
  • Configuration review
  • Logging and audit trails

VAPT Readiness

Preparation for an independent penetration test: agreed scope, a test environment, test accounts, architecture notes and the documentation an auditor asks for.

Core features
  • Scope and environment preparation
  • Test accounts and data
  • Architecture and data-flow notes
  • Evidence collection

Fixing VAPT Findings

When your auditor sends their report, we triage the findings, fix them in priority order and support the re-test so you can close the report.

Core features
  • Finding triage and prioritisation
  • Code and configuration fixes
  • Support for the re-test
  • Fix documentation for the auditor

Secure Application Configuration

Safer defaults inside the application itself: security headers, cookie and session settings, secrets kept out of code, and regular dependency updates.

Core features
  • Security headers and CSP
  • Session and cookie settings
  • Secrets kept out of code
  • Dependency updates

Compliance-Ready Engineering

Engineering that makes security and privacy reviews easier: audit logs, access control and data-protection practices aligned to the requirements your customers and bank partners ask about.

Core features
  • Audit logging
  • Access reviews
  • Data protection practices
  • Evidence for security questionnaires

Who this software is built for

Fintech platforms before a bank or aggregator review

Get your system ready for the security review and testing your bank partner requires before go-live.

SaaS products facing enterprise security questionnaires

Prepare evidence and fix gaps so large customers can approve your product.

Teams that have received a VAPT report

Turn a long findings list into a prioritised fix plan and close it out with your auditor.

Businesses without in-house security engineers

Add secure engineering practices to your development without hiring a full team.

Ageing applications

Review and harden legacy applications that were built before current practices.

Startups preparing for their first audit

Know what an auditor will look for and fix the obvious issues first.

Business benefits

  • Fewer, less serious findings

Secure design and review during development reduce what the independent test can find.

  • Faster audits

A prepared environment and clear documentation save the auditor's time and yours.

  • Clear, prioritised fixes

Findings are triaged by risk so the most important issues are closed first.

  • Independent assurance

Because you choose the auditor, the test is independent of the team that built the system.

  • Easier customer and partner approvals

Evidence and audit logs make questionnaires and reviews quicker.

  • Lower long-term risk

Fixing weaknesses early costs less than responding to an incident.

Secure development and VAPT readiness FAQs

Do you perform penetration tests or VAPT audits?

No. Penetration testing is most valuable when an independent party tests the system, so we do not mark our own work. You commission the VAPT from an independent auditor of your choice. We prepare your system for the test and fix what it finds.

What is VAPT?

VAPT stands for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. A vulnerability assessment looks for known weaknesses, usually with automated tools. Penetration testing has a skilled tester try to exploit weaknesses, as an attacker would, to show what is really at risk.

Which auditor should I use?

That depends on your sector and partners. Banks, aggregators and regulators often specify which auditors they accept, so ask your bank partner or customer first. We can work with any independent auditor.

What does VAPT readiness include?

Agreeing the scope, preparing a test environment and accounts, documenting the architecture and data flows, and fixing obvious issues beforehand so the audit time is spent on meaningful findings.

Can you fix issues in an application you did not build?

Yes, after a short review of the code and architecture. We can fix findings in applications built by other teams, or advise your own developers.

Do you secure our servers and hosting?

No. We focus on the application: its code, configuration and dependencies. Securing servers, networks and hosting stays with your hosting provider or infrastructure team, and we can tell them what the application needs from the environment.

Do you certify that our system is compliant or secure?

No. We do not issue certifications. We build and harden systems to recognised practices and prepare the evidence, but certification or approval comes from the relevant auditor, regulator or bank.

Security problems this service addresses

A bank or customer asks for a security review

You need evidence that the system was built and tested carefully, and you need it before go-live or a contract signature.

A VAPT report with a long list of findings

Findings arrive without a plan. They need triage, fixes in priority order and a re-test to close them.

Common weaknesses in new code

Injection, broken access control and weak secret handling are easy to introduce under delivery pressure. Review during development catches them early.

Security settings left at defaults

Missing security headers, permissive session settings and secrets in code are common in applications that grew quickly. Secure configuration closes these gaps.

How we work on application security

  1. 1. Review

We look at the application's architecture, code and configuration to understand the current risks.

  2. 2. Plan

A prioritised list of fixes and hardening steps, with the effort for each.

  3. 3. Fix and harden

We fix weaknesses in the application's code and configuration.

  4. 4. Prepare for independent testing

Scope, environment, accounts and documentation for the auditor you choose.

  5. 5. Remediate findings

After the auditor's report, we triage, fix and support the re-test.

What affects the cost of security work

The main factors are:

  • The size and complexity of the application and its integrations.
  • How much of the code and configuration needs review or change.
  • The number and severity of findings to fix, if you already have a report.
  • Whether you need documentation and evidence for a specific bank, regulator or customer.
  • The timeline to your audit or go-live date.

More security questions

How long does remediation take?

It depends on the number and severity of findings. After reviewing your report or system we give you a prioritised plan with effort estimates.

Can you work with the auditor we choose?

Yes. We coordinate with your auditor on scope, environments and questions, and we support the re-test after fixes.

Where can I learn about common web application risks?

The OWASP Top 10 lists the most critical web application security risks and is a good starting point for developers and managers.
